Privacy Policy

Stillpoint is built so your private thoughts stay private. This policy explains, plainly, what we do and don’t collect. The short version is below.

The Stillpoint app

Everything you put into Stillpoint stays on your device, encrypted, behind your PIN. None of that journal content is uploaded to 1st Step Media LLC. Your content is never used to train any AI model. The built-in AI and voice-to-text run entirely on your machine, so no internet connection is required to use them. Internet access is used outside the app to download the installer, receive order or license emails, and download any optional future updates.

This website

This is a simple, static informational site. We don’t set tracking cookies and we don’t run advertising or analytics trackers. Like any website, our hosting provider keeps standard server access logs (which can include your IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. The site also loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those files from Google when the page loads.

When you email sales@1ststepmedia.llc, we receive your message and email address, and use them only to respond to you and handle your request.

Trial orders, purchases, and license delivery

Free-trial requests and purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant-of-record and digital-delivery provider. Lemon Squeezy collects the information shown in its checkout under its own privacy terms. We do not receive or store your complete payment-card number.

Lemon Squeezy provides us with the customer email address and relevant order information—such as the order number, product, purchase status, and refund status—so we can deliver the trial, issue and support a paid license, prevent duplicate fulfillment, handle refunds, and provide customer service. Our licensing system records the order and issued key for these purposes. The free trial does not receive a paid license key.

How long we keep order information

We retain order and license records for as long as reasonably necessary to support your license, provide customer service, handle accounting and tax obligations, prevent fraud, and resolve disputes. You may contact us to ask what customer information we hold or to request deletion where applicable law permits. Deleting a purchase record may affect our ability to recover or support a license later.

Children

Stillpoint is intended for adults. The app and these services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we’ll revise the effective date above. Material changes will be reflected here.
